idiot's anatomy / animated stills (!) / 2012
this animated image series serves as a drill ground for my interests in
expressionistic/surreal graphical body-representation-techniques with the computer.
it is of my particular interest to investigate to what extent the nature
of the specific image material is recognizable to us as humans,
or to what extent it is determined exclusively individually.
as, for example, when the gentle, non-rhythmical pumping of the cerebral spinal fluid
prompts an image of the gill movement of certain deep sea fish.
